Sometimes there are people who give more value to an image than one word.
It is said that there are images that are worth a thousand words, in some cases with some reason. But if we focus only on the image, well, just focus on the moment, does not focus on the before or after, nothing more than a small fraction.
I personally prefer to use the word, preferably written.
When I write, I can describe the place, all the event, every moment, every feeling. I make the reader feel on the spot, part of the scenario, be part of a story.
When I see an image, focuses me that particular time, but everything else is naked. A vacuum. That story involved that image will have been a fake smile? Are they happy? Anyway, if I, of course I know the whole story, and the others?
I have nothing against pictures, moreover, I also like to take pictures, who knows me knows that is true. Only sometimes exaggerate the simple act of capturing the moment, and we make it into something potty, then that is just one more. Nothing special, only another one.
When I write, I flowing feelings, my own and of those who read, good or bad, they are there.
I know that writing, more easily reach the people, conquer, and yet I let them know a little about myself. For my writing is just that, my way of thinking in written form exposed for all to see, feel, love, hate and finally without taboos
